DETERMINATION OF THE FACTORS INFLUENCING THE ECO-FRIEDLY FREEZING TECHNOLOGY PROCESS

Abstract
Lithuania and the European Union are attached a great importance to food safety and public health. Growing and producing products aren’t enough in agriculture. They should be properly prepared and maintained so that they have the required quality. It is looking for the product storage of eco-friendly and energy-efficient methods, because constantly in-creasing the prices of storage equipment and energy. One of them is a vacuum freezing method.
The paper analyzed and evaluated the factors that influencing the cooling process of environmentally friendly vacuum technology. The special equipment for investigation of water droplets freezing under vacuum was designed. The analytical method is proposed to describe this process. The most important factors that have a significant influence on the freezing process were revealed. The theoretical results have a good agreement with the experimental results.
