Agricultural Engineering have a history since 1960. At that time the title of the journal was Works of the Scientific Research Institute of Lithuanian Agriculture Mechanization and Electrification. ISSN 0320-3115(Print)
It was published by oder of the Agriculrure Ministery of LSR. Publication languages were Lithuanian and Russian, but Summaries were presented in Englich.
Sinse 80'th every volume has its own topics, for example, Reduction of Energy Input of Agricultural Production or Mechanization of Agriculture, or Advance in Fooder Fabrication Technologies and etc.
Sinse 1995 journal is under the title Agricultural Engineering. Copyrights of Lithuanian Academy of Agriculture (Now Vytautas Magnus University, Agriculture Academy).
From 2014 Agricultural Engineering is free access on line journal.
